We are thrilled to be able to announce that Adventure Alternative has won another national award for sustainable tourism.
On November the 20th it was confirmed that we had been awarded the Roger Diski Community Project Award for Sustainable Tourism by the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO). The award was made in recognition of the work that we carry out in partnership with the Moving Mountains Trust in the rainforested, Sarawak region of Malaysian Borneo. It is the same award that we won last year for our work with villages in Himalayan Nepal.
