Overview
Our Private or Bespoke Trips to Kenya offer a personalised service, creating unique tailor made itineraries for travellers planning a personal and customised adventure in Kenya.
We have our own company, staff, office, stores, equipment and vehicles in Kenya all year round and can put together any type of personalised trip in the country from safaris to mountain climbs, from film support crews to international aid trips. We have the staff, experience, expertise and infrastructure to put together the perfect trip for you to specifically fit your desires, aspirations and dates. Your itinerary can be as independent or as inclusive as you wish; our focus is tailoring an itinerary that takes care of you from the day you land to the day you leave and that during your time with us you achieve all that you hope to see or do.
How does it work?
Initially just drop us an email or call us with an idea of what it is you'd like to do, or to get some ideas of what's possible to do. You can speak directly with Chris or Andy in the UK office who both have over two decades hands on experience putting together and managing trips to and in Kenya. Together they'll chat with you about your plans, aspirations, dates and budget and then put together a proposed itinerary for your time in Kenya. We'll work together with you until you're happy with the itinerary and costs. When we reach this stage you'll have a PDF trip pack to show others who wish to join you on the adventure and when everyone is happy we'll list your trip date under the 'Dates and Booking' section on the right hand side of this page. From here you and your guests or fellow travellers can sign up for the trip by filling in their details and paying a deposit. We ask for a £250pp deposit on booking with the balance due 4 weeks prior to your trip. When people join the trip they'll be given an online account which they can also use if they'd like to spread the cost by making interim payments.
Have you come to this page to join a trip that a friend or colleague has arranged with us?
If so you should have received from them a trip pack which will cover the itinerary, price and inclusions / exclusions. All you need to do now is select the specific date for your trip from the drop down menu under the 'Dates and Bookings' section. The booking system will then guide you through the process in a few easy steps. Please note that if you're due to receive a discount such as can be the case with minors or nationals from Kenya then this will be applied after we receive your booking (office hours) and please inform us of your discount during the booking process or drop us an email with details to rosie@adventurealternative.com
The process is straight forward however if you have any problems do please contact us.
