What Our Adventurers Think:
Our family wants to say a huge thank you to Adventure Alternative for such a great trip to the Chitwan in May 2023. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish with amazing scenery, stunning wildlife, excellent food, and we were lucky to have plenty of sunny weather. Our very friendly Nepalese staff – Anu & Kule were more like part of our family by the end of the trip. We also appreciated the great communication from Chris and Andy in the UK office who answered questions very quickly. All went very smoothly with great organisation, great staff, and we highly recommend Adventure Alternative. We definitely hope to travel with you again. Many thanks to you all.

Nepal Wildlife Explorer Safari - Clothing Suggestions
For your safari you need normal, general trek-style clothes but you should consider the elements and ensure you have clothing which will suitably protect you from the sun (sun cream, hat, sunglasses, long sleeves, loose fitting and a neutral colour), rain (light jacket) and dust (bandana or scarf). Colour is also a consideration so that you blend in with the wildlife. Strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are not advised for day time trek use.
If you are visiting some of the local villages then ladies should ensure that shoulders are covered and shorts are not too short, perhaps bring a sarong.
A light jumper or thin fleece may be needed in the evenings, especially in the higher elevations of Kathmandu and Pokhara. A small set of travel binoculars are also handy.
