Tanzania is the home to iconic safari destinations in the northern part of the country where we operate such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Arusha Parks. A lot of people choose a short safari after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, but many people come to this part of the world to experience the wildlife and enjoy the natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater in particular is a special place, a natural volcanic crater with the most intensive population of wildlife to be found anywhere in Africa. The Serengeti borders the Masai Mara in Kenya and is the scene of the annual great migration as the great herds of wildebeest cross the plains and the Mara River to enjoy the grasslands in the Rift Valley.

We organise safaris for small groups and families and help to plan the itinerary based on the time of year and what you would like to see and do. We have our own company based in Moshi called Adventure Alternative Tanzania which is well set up with vehicles, staff and equipment. We don’t outsource to other companies and we are confident that our guides, drivers and cooks are safe, fun and knowledgeable.
