Expedition LeaderGreg Coe
Whilst washing dishes in a ski hotel in the early 90s, Greg trained as a rafting guide in Austria, and did a trip with three friends to run sections of the Indus & Ganges rivers in India. He then worked in outdoor centres in Wales in the mid-90's teaching rock-climbing, canoeing etc before starting to lead overseas expeditions professionally in 1997.
Greg has spent many summers climbing in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru doing lightweight alpine ascents of 5-6,500m peaks and several ascents of Aconcagua including the Polish Direct. He has led over 40 commercial expeditions and spent a total of over a year living in various tropical forests, guiding and leading remote conservation projects (mostly in Belize, Borneo & Guyana).
He is also occasionally employed to provide logistics and safety support for remote TV productions, and his current base is a 27ft sailboat on the south Devon coast.
