We have a long history of organising bespoke expeditions and adventures tailored to the aspirations of individuals and specialist groups, such as film crews, leadership expeditions and specialist climbing tours. With our long experience of organizing expeditions all over the world, and our own overseas staff and resources, we are in a great position to tailor these trips. About Private Expeditions
Private expeditions are all about you and your group. Since each group has different needs, we work together with you to check off all the boxes and curate the perfect holiday for your group. We are familiar with working with all types of travelers and can easily accommodate the needs of your group.
School Expeditions
We offer trips for student groups to a variety of locations. Together we work with our sister charity Moving Mountains. The experience focuses on connecting students with local community and landscape.
Our student trips to Nepal last 22 days. Students and faculty alike immerse themselves in the local Sherpa community. Our itinerary focuses on working with a local village on various social projects. Then, our journey continues to Namche Bazaar for a view of iconic Mount Everest. Additionally, we can add in time to explore the lowland jungles of Chitwan National Park.

Additionally, we have a 21-day trip to Tanzania. This trip is focused on community building. We believe in creating a partnership across the globe, bringing communities together to bring one another up. In addition to our community building, we offer a climb up the stunning Mt Meru as well as a group safari in one of the many amazing parks in Tanzania.
Another popular trip is our Kenya School Trip. We interact with another school in Kenya, which we have teamed up with since the 1990s via Moving Mountains. It’s an excellent opportunity for students to connect with students. We focus on working with local Kenyans to connect with the world and develop on an international level.

Safety on all of our trips is the number one priority, particularly with student groups. Our local connections allow us to operate safely and in-country. Mountain Climbing Expeditions and Trekking Holidays
Climbing a mountain is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences. A climb in a foreign land combines the joys and wonders of travel with the challenge of peak climbing. We offer several trips up many of the world’s highest peaks, or the Seven Summits.
If you are a well-seasoned mountaineer and you aim to climb the world’s tallest mountain, we offer small guided trips up Mount Everest. We cover everything in terms of permits, Sherpa teams, guides, oxygen, and base camp logistics. We limit this trip to small groups of experienced climbers.

Other popular trip ideas for groups include the Mount Elbrus Traverse which combines both the north and south routes. Mt Elbrus is the tallest mountain in Europe and one of the Seven Summits. It’s an excellent choice for a group looking to tackle a tall peak without the technical aspects of a climb. Another option for a group climb is Mount Ojos del Salado in Bolivia. At 6,893m it is the highest active volcano in the world.

Mount Kenya is another popular option for a group that wants more of a trekking experience, but would still like to climb a mountain. The route passes through the unique high-alpine landscape of Africa with magnificent flora and fauna as well as those amazing views.
We offer a great opportunity to trek along Spain’s stunning Sierra Nevada range. This lesser-known destination is full of stunning mountain vistas, fantastic food, and charming villages. Los Tres Miles, our chosen route, treks along the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada’s without the intense altitude gains and losses. A perfect trek for a group looking to enjoy the mountains without too much strenuous activity.

Charity Expeditions
A great way to enjoy a holiday with your group is to make it a charity expedition. We have an entire page dedicated to our charity trip offerings, and we are happy to work with you to take any of our itineraries and help you create a charity trip out of your climb or trek.
One of our most popular group charity climbs is Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the tallest mountain in Africa and one of the Seven Summits. What better way to enjoy Africa than to climb to the tallest point for a good cause? This trip can also be combined with a private safari for your group.

Specialized Group Travel
If your group is engaged in specialized travel, such as a film crew, research team, or office group we would love to help you stay on track. We will work with you and your crew to personally organize and plan the logistics for your journey.
We work with you and your specific needs in areas we operate in order to connect you on the ground with our local guides and community to help you with whatever you may need. If you're planning a special retreat for your office, we'd love to help. Adventure is a great way to bond as a group.
Personal Group Expeditions and Holidays
In addition to students, charity groups, and specialized teams, we offer private group trips as well. Essentially any of our trip offerings can be catered towards a private group.
Biking is a unique way to experience the jungle. Our Bike and Hike Challenges provides you with a different way to see Borneo.
Some of our most popular group trips are in Borneo. Our Wild Borneo trek is perfect for anyone looking to track deep into the jungles of Sarawak, track wildlife, and have an encounter with members of the Penan Tribe. Or explore the virtually untouched Maliau Basin on our Sabah’s Lost World expedition. This trip also includes a rare chance for a village homestay. Our Borneo Bike and Hike Challenge is another unique trip geared towards a group. We mountain bike and hike through the rainforest on this incredible 10-day adventure. This journey includes a trek up Mount Kinabalu as well as some time exploring the deep-forest Lupa Masa Jungle Camp.
