Name: Steve Pinfield
Position: Expedition leader - polar and jungle expert

Steve is one of the worlds more renowned and experienced adventurers. A qualified climbing leader, Steve has led trips to all parts of the globe and was base camp manager in the Antarctic for seven years. He has organised and guided many trips to both North and South Poles.
His climbing has included some of the most inspiring peaks, and some of the most difficult. An accomplished rock climber, Steve is a man rarely at rest. Swimming, running, cycling, climbing, travelling and exploring he brings an energy and experience to the company which is coupled with a strong sense of responsibility, safety and professionalism.
Steve has worked extensively in Borneo and Antarctica but his experience in Africa is enviable. At ease with extensive logistics in the field and with a clear understanding of leadership and teamwork, Steve is a good man to have on an expedition. Steve works with Adventure Alternative on the more difficult and committing expeditions.
