Name: Rosie Gathirimu
Position: Africampers partner, Moving Mountains Chairlady
Home: Nairobi
Rosie Gathirimu runs Moving Mountains Kenya and is in charge of all the charitable projects and operations we have in East Africa.
She is also a partner with Africampers in Kenya, and manages our medical electives and gap clients, aswell as assisting to run the office.
Rosie is married to Khalid and they have one daughter Najum who was born in June 2007. She has a sister Jennifer who was also a beneficiary of MM and is now a graphic artist in Nairobi.
Rosie brings zest and maturity to company and charity. Always popular and chatty and fun, Rosie is a big positive influence on all the staff and clients. She has been involved with all our trips for around ten years now, and she has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro (when she was pregnant..without knowing it). She has visited Ireland and Sweden and has undertaken college courses in counselling, NGO management and social work.
