Group Trekking Adventures

At Adventure Alternative we offer custom made trips especially for Walking groups, Charity treks and Youth Groups.

We can cater for larger numbers because we have the facilities in place in the countries where we operate and we understand the needs of the self-contained unit with specific goals in mind. We now have 6 years experience of taking Irish walking groups away on holidays and we are the largest adventure travel operator in Ireland.

For Irish walking groups we also offer pre-trip talks with slide presentations and also hill training and special skills courses led by highly experienced Irish mountain leaders and instructors. For example if you wish to climb Mount Elbrus we can prepare a programme of training to fully assist with your goal. And we are based in Ireland so we can visit you, sit down and talk about your requirements.

For school groups we can incorporate our expeditions into Irish Educational Schemes for the Transition Year, offering experience in volunteerism and working abroad.

We have considerable experience and a special rapport providing adventure holidays and treks with many groups including charity treks for CROI (West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation), schools in Dublin, Clonmel, Newcastle, Sussex, Liverpool and Belfast; plus walking clubs all over Ireland.
