We don't outsource!- We have many years of collective experience in the main countries where we operate, and in other areas we use our own expert professional guides with an enviable combined mountaineering and expedition portfolio. When you book with us we can tell you exactly who will be looking after you in-country and who the guides will be. No inexperienced trip leaders or unknown local people in charge to worry about.
We promote tourism
We don't operate as an agency. We start up local companies in the developing countries where we operate and we offer proper full time careers to our employees abroad. This gives us a team of highly loyal staff who will ultimately give you the best trip. We operate within strict guidelines of fair employment and equal opportunity and we publish all the details on our website. This is not just an idle comment about ethical tourism, this is a long term strategy to create employment and futures, as well as positively developing the relationship between the tourist consumer and the local community.
Supporting Charity
We support the charity Moving Mountains which looks after street children in East Africa and community projects in Nepal. Moving Mountains was set up by AA Director Gavin Bate and it is our company policy to use the UK company and all the companies we operate abroad to fund the overheads of the charity and the NGO we have in Kenya. In this way all the money donated to MM goes to the beneficiaries. We encourage people to get involved with the charity while they are on holiday in Kenya or Nepal to see how we work, and to see aid work on the ground. Every person who books on an AA trip is in some way contributing to hospitals, schools, orphanages and the welfare of many hundreds of children and their families. Almost all of our employees in East Africa were once beneficiaries of Moving Mountains.

Our website is very informative and useful and easy to navigate. We only ask you for information that is strictly necessary to complete your reservation with us.
